This work reveals, in a fictional yet perceptible space, a disorienting and deliberately poetic aesthetic and auditory collage, the title of which is inspired by T.S. Eliot's composition Four Quartets.

Au point-repos du monde qui tourne (at the still point of the turning world) is an immersive audio-visual installation that reflects the human intuition of time and space, where a series of clouds with various shapes and colors seem to pass before the eyes of the viewer. Resulting from a digital video montage created from fifteen photographic images, the visual content is paired with a three-dimensional stereophonic "binaural" sound creation: T.S. Eliot's voice recites his poetic composition, blending with a pattern of auditory elements that allude to the passage of time.

Inside a confined and enclosed projection space, the viewer is invited to observe the photographic images, subject to an illusion of movement and almost imperceptible variations. These variations slowly lead the scene to a surprisingly evident change: the clouds shift incessantly, in a continuous visual production designed to have no clear beginning or end.

The sound creation fits into the installation as a guide or suggestion. The poet's narration is fragmented, confused, open to personal interpretation, and intentionally unsynchronized with the images, in order to create an infinite variety of possible experiences, determined by the unique moment of engagement of the viewer.
